WYNBERG
Common Ground Wynberg is a vibrant church family that celebrates the beauty of diversity. Our community is a tapestry of people from across South Africa, the African continent, and the world. We are united by a shared passion for the Gospel, getting closer to Jesus, and sharing the life-changing truth of His forgiveness and salvation with everyone we meet. Whether you are looking for a spiritual home or just exploring faith, we invite you to join us this Sunday. We can’t wait to meet you, chat, and welcome you into our family.
Filling the city with the message, life and fame of Jesus Christ!
The Evidence for the Resurrection of Christ
"Dead bodies stay dead." That was the starting point for Lee Strobel, a law-trained journalist who set out to disprove the Resurrection and "liberate" his wife from her faith. He discovered what many skeptics and seekers eventually find: the evidence for the empty tomb is "clear and convincing."
In this message, we dive into 1 Corinthians 15, where the Apostle Paul presents a rigorous, four-fold defense of the Resurrection. From the "indisputable" historical fact of Jesus’ execution to the eye-witness accounts of over 500 people—including skeptics like James and persecutors like Paul himself—we explore why the Resurrection is not just a matter of faith, but a matter of history.
If the tomb is not empty, our faith is futile. But if Christ is risen, then everything changes. Join us as we examine the "Exhibit A" of the Christian faith and discover why the Resurrection is the Father’s "Amen!" to the Son’s "It is finished!"

We have a beautiful opportunity to move beyond our walls and into the heart of our community. We are officially launching our Street Ministry, and we would love for you to be a part of this journey!
Our goal isn't just to provide a meal, but to see our friends living on the street reunited with family, finding work, and thriving in their identity in Christ. We believe that by hearing their stories and sharing the Gospel, we can support them in taking those brave steps toward a new life.
